Atheism = Communism? Really huh?

While surfing the web, I stumbled in this site and I just like to share this to all of you. It was posted on a Manila-based Christian site called  MANILA MINISTRY PART 2  Message to the Nation  The Family's involvement in Filipino Politics

So, how did atheists become a "commie? " I think the author has no real idea what an atheist is.

Is this pamphlet being distributed to our Armed Forces? Hmm... Maybe that's the reason why we are losing the battle against the Commies, the "Fundies" are spreading the flames of ignorance.

Just because Marx doesn't believe in a god, means all atheists are communists. Ayn Rand is an atheist, but she is certainly not a communist. Communism is an ideology centered on eliminating class inequality via collective ownership of the means of production; form of one-party government controlling the economy and society in the name of such ideology. It has nothing to do with atheism. Remember, the atheism = communism ploy is another Christian "Straw Man" to discredit atheism by attacking communism.

If you will read your Bible, you will noticed that it is nearer to Marx’s famous line “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

This is what the Lord has commanded: Gather of it, every man of you, as much as
he can eat; you shall take an omer apiece, according to the number of persons
who each of you has in his tent. And the people of Israel did so; they gathered
some more, some less. But when they measured it with an omer, he that gathered
much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; each gathered

All that believed were together, and had all things in common; And sold their
possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.(Acts
2:44-45)

There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses
sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.
They laid it at the
apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. There was a
Levite, a native of Cyprus, Joseph, to whom the apostles gave the name Barnabas
(which means “son of encouragement”). He sold a field that belonged to him, then
brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. (Acts 4:34-37)

If you read Ananias and Sapphira story. Uh, that story about these two persons who sold a piece of property but only gave the community a portion of the proceeds, keeping some of it for themselves, and because of that, they were killed by God?  Well, that's like killing bourgeoisie land owners who fail to give all of their money to the community? That’s not merely communism, that’s Stalinism!

So, I hope these charlatans start to play their cards right. Only "NUTS" will fall on such TACKLESS PROPAGANDA .
